In Part 2, we’ll brush and cut Bumblemouse’s fur to scruff him up a bit, add in his whiskers, antennae, wings, and texture the fork. Finally, we’ll add in some lighting so we can highlight details in our fuzzy Bumblemouse character, as well as dialing in the subsurface scattering shaders for his skin. Once that’s done, we’ll add in the hair and go through all the different options for art directing the look, and then set selections so we limit the hair to only the regions we want.

After that, we’ll add in a fork from the content browser and modify it with several subd modeling techniques until it looks more like a fondue fork. Next we’ll look at references to other mouse characters so we can find a good looking pose and match it. Im am trying to achieve the volumetric lighting how it works with the regular. I am not looking for ways to do it in post, but to do it in cinema 4d.

The release also incorporates important industry standards for GPU rendering. Hello Everyone I am struggling with how to create fog or volumetric lighting in Octane for cinema 4d for quite a while now and I havent found a single solution yet. Features include volumetric light field primitives and deep motion buffers for high frame rate VR rendering. In this Cinema 4D Octane Render tutorial, David Ariew will begin by downloading a mouse character from CG Trader that’s originally rigged for Maya, and then reducing the rig down to its essentials for C4D. The release of the new OctaneRender 3, brings new state-of-the-art tools never seen before in any production renderer. Want more Octane Tutorials? Watch our Octane Tutorial Youtube Playlist!
